Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Outdoorfrontiers.
Before you get started, have a quick read through these terms. They're not here to scare you off, they just explain how the platform works and what we expect from everyone using it. By joining our waitlist or creating an account on Outdoorfrontiers, you agree to these terms.
1. What is Outdoorfrontiers?
Outdoorfrontiers is a platform connecting former office employees with outdoor, travel and hybrid jobs abroad, starting in New Zealand. We make it easy for professionals to find outdoor and travel roles that match their background, and for businesses to find reliable, professional, customer-facing staff.
Outdoorfrontiers is based in the Netherlands. These terms are written in English, and that is the only official version.
2. Who can use Outdoorfrontiers?
Employees
To create an account as a worker, you need to:
- Hold or be eligible for a working holiday visa for New Zealand
- Provide accurate and honest information about yourself
Businesses
To create an account as a business, you need to:
- Represent a real, legitimate business
- Only post genuine job opportunities
Once an employee connects with a role posted on Outdoorfrontiers, what happens next, the hiring process, communication, and any agreement is between the employee and the business. Outdoorfrontiers is not part nor responsible for that part of that process.
3. Your account
When you create an account on Outdoorfrontiers, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe. Don't share your password with anyone else. If you think someone has gotten into your account without your permission, get in touch with us straight away at info@outdoorfrontiers.co.
You're responsible for everything that happens through your account, so make sure your information is always up to date and accurate.
4. What we expect from you
To keep Outdoorfrontiers a good place for everyone, we ask that you follow these rules:
Be honest
Only put true and accurate information on your profile or job listing. Don't pretend to be someone you're not, and don't misrepresent your skills, experience, or business. If we find out that information is false, we can remove your account.
No spam
Don't send unsolicited messages or contact other users outside of what's needed to connect for a job. Spamming other users on the platform isn't allowed.
Real jobs only
Businesses can only post real, available job opportunities. Fake listings, misleading job ads, or listings unrelated to work in New Zealand aren't allowed and can be removed.
Be respectful
Treat other users the way you'd want to be treated. Any behaviour that is harmful, offensive, or makes others feel unsafe is not okay on Outdoorfrontiers.
No illegal activity
Don't use Outdoorfrontiers for anything that is against the law in the Netherlands, New Zealand, or your own country.
5. We are just the connector
Outdoorfrontiers is a platform that connects workers and businesses. We are not an employment agency and we are not part of the agreement between an employee and a business.
This means that once a connection is made through Outdoorfrontiers, what happens next is between the employee and the business. Outdoorfrontiers is not responsible for:
- Whether a job works out or not
- The quality or accuracy of a job listing
- The conduct of businesses or employees
- Any disputes, losses, or issues that come up between users
If something goes wrong, you can contact us at info@outdoorfrontiers.co and we'll look into it. We can flag or remove profiles and listings that break these terms, but we can't get involved in personal or legal disputes between users.
6. Reporting a problem
If you come across a profile, listing, or message that seems fake, inappropriate, or suspicious, please let us know at info@outdoorfrontiers.co. We take these reports seriously and will look into them as quickly as we can.
We appreciate you helping to keep Outdoorfrontiers a trustworthy place for everyone.
7. Suspending or removing accounts
We want Outdoorfrontiers to be a safe and honest platform. If we believe someone isn't following these terms, we reserve the right to:
- Give a warning
- Temporarily suspend an account
- Permanently remove an account
This includes, but isn't limited to, cases where someone has given false information, is spamming other users, has posted fake job listings, or has made other users feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
If your account has been removed and you think this was a mistake, you can reach out to us at info@outdoorfrontiers.co and we'll have a look.
8. Your content
When you upload photos, write an about me, add work experience, or fill in any other information on your profile, that content stays yours. By adding it to Outdoorfrontiers, you give us permission to display it on the platform so that businesses can see it.
Please make sure that any photos or information you share are yours to share and don't belong to someone else. We may also use submitted information, including business or contact details, to support and grow Outdoorfrontiers' network.
9. Availability of the platform
We do our best to keep Outdoorfrontiers up and running smoothly, but we can't guarantee the platform will always be available without interruption. Sometimes we need to do maintenance or updates, which might cause short downtime. We'll try to let users know in advance when this happens.
10. Changes to these terms
We might update these terms from time to time, for example as we add new features. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If something important changes, we'll let you know by email.
By continuing to use Outdoorfrontiers after an update, you agree to the new terms.
11. Which law applies?
Outdoorfrontiers is based in the Netherlands, so Dutch law applies to these terms. If there's ever a dispute about these terms, it will be handled under Dutch law.
